Sleep Clinic

HushaBoo runs a monthly sleep clinic and other special events at The Nurture Barn in Great Bardfield. Great for getting advice whilst your little one plays in a safe, relaxed environment that has great toys and amazing food! Stylish play for babies and toddlers, plus a whole heap of sleep advice!

A 40 minute appointment costs £32 and includes play all day at the barn. These must be booked in advance as a questionnaire completion is needed before the appointment.

Sleep Workshops

Workshops can be a more affordable way to access sleep advice and support, especially if you have one area, such as early rising, that needs addressing. Workshops can also be useful as a preventative measure for new parents or parents-to-be to understand the science behind sleep, why sleep is so important, what to expect with sleep in your baby and beyond, and key areas where sleep can be affected by external factors as well as how to solve them.

Baby & Toddler Sleep Workshop at Krazy Kidz Fun Forest 

Friday 15th November

HushaBoo is collaborating with Krazy Kidz Fun Forest to bring you a relaxed environment for you to learn about your little’s ones sleep whilst they play in the fun forest! As the venue is intimate, you will be able to see your child at all times, meaning you can concentrate on the workshop and best of all, no need to find childcare!

Workshop runs 10am to 11:30am at Krazy Kidz Fun Forest in Chingford.

£10 per parent and child – includes entry and play.

What is usually covered at a workshop? 

Newborn Sleep Workshop

This workshop is useful for parents-to-be or parents with newborn babies (birth to 3 months). The main aim of the newborn workshop is to look at what is normal for a newborn baby when it comes to sleep, and what to expect (and therefore how to respond) at each stage.

Key areas covered:

– An overview of the science of sleep

– The relationship between feeding and sleeping

– Creating the perfect sleep environment

– When and how to establish a routine

– Expectations of sleep

– The importance of differentiating between night and day

– Sleep cues and over tiredness

 Under 5’s Sleep Workshop Part 1

This workshop is useful for parents with babies, toddlers and children under 5. The main aim of the under 5’s sleep workshops is to look at how sleep changes and develops past 4 months, what to expect with sleep in the fitst few years, and how you can create the best sleeper possible for your parenting style.

Key areas covered:

– An overview of the science of sleep

– What changes in sleep patterns past 4 months

– Helpful vs unhelpful sleep habits

– Creating an independent sleeper

– Choosing the right sleep method for you and your baby

– Developmental milestones that affect sleep

Under 5’s Sleep Workshop Part 2

This workshop is useful for parents with babies, toddlers and children under 5. The main aim of the under 5’s sleep workshops is to look at how sleep changes and develops past 4 months, what to expect with sleep in the fitst few years, and how you can create the best sleeper possible for your parenting style.

– Causes of sleep disruption

– Night weaning

– Dummy tips and weaning

– Night time wakings

– Early rising

– Nightmares and night terrors
